I still remember the first time I stayed up all night chasing that hot streak at an online blackjack table. It was 2006, I was a newbie, and I learned the hard way that walking away at the right time is just as important as knowing when to hit. Since then, I've spent years spotting proper online blackjack casinos in the UK and ditching shady sites.
So, if you're looking for the best online blackjack platforms in the UK, I'm more than happy to share my finds with you.
Let's find you a decent table. Here's my shortlist.
The Final Cut: My Blackjack Casino Shortlist
I'd start with Betfred for £1 blackjack, All British for variety and Genting for live dealers. If you prefer playing at your own pace, have a look at Casushi and Prime's digital games.

Why Each Casino Made the Cut
Here's a closer look at the games on each site. Click a casino name to read more.
#1 Betfred - My pick for £1 blackjack
Betfred is my first stop for £1 blackjack. Its Betfred £1 Blackjack game has a £1 minimum and £50 maximum. This is a virtual studio game, with a computer dealing the cards.
Prefer a human host? All Bets Blackjack Live starts at £1 too, with unlimited player places. There are six optional side bets alongside the main game.
Betfred also has a live-casino welcome offer. I cover the Golden Chips offer in the bonus section below.
For a £1 hand, I'd open Betfred £1 Blackjack for digital play or All Bets if I fancied a live dealer. Watch the names: Blackjack 1 is a separate live table starting at £5. PlayOJO is the other one I'd compare for £1 digital games, particularly if you want to try a demo first.

#2 All British - Branded blackjack and plenty of variations
It's got this cosy British design, but the reason All British stays on my list is the blackjack selection. This site is packed with catchy titles like Super Boost Blackjack, Live All British Blackjack, Bet Stacker Blackjack and Blackjack Party. Trust me, these are just a few.
Fancy a quieter game? The digital selection includes All British Blackjack, Blackjack Neo, Blackjack Suited and Sweet 16, so you can play at your own pace.
All British Blackjack 1 by Stakelogic is where I'd begin. The branded tables are a good reason to choose this site, and the provider filter lets you find other games from the same studio. I'd compare Genting if you fancy browsing several live providers, or Betfred if a clearly marked £1 starting stake is your priority.

#3 Genting - Live blackjack from several providers
Genting gives you a good few live studios to choose from. You'll find Blackjack B by Evolution, Studio21 Clubs Blackjack and Pragmatic Play's Blackjack 14, alongside variants such as Infinite and Free Bet.
The online casino is run by SkillOnNet. Having several providers in one lobby gives you plenty to browse if you fancy a change of table or dealer.
Genting's general welcome offer has slots-only wagering.
I'd open All Bets Blackjack Live first for a £1 game. Everyone shares the initial hand, but you make your own decisions, and there is no seven-seat limit. It pays 3:2 and allows a double on any first two cards, though not after a split. For a conventional seat at a £5 table, I'd compare PlayOJO's Studio 21 games.
#4 PlayOJO - GVG and Playtech blackjack
PlayOJO is mostly known in the UK for bonuses with no wagering requirements. No, I'm not kidding. The welcome spins are for slots.
Now, let's talk blackjack. PlayOJO has live games that let you soak up the casino buzz without leaving your couch, including Quantum Blackjack from Playtech. For digital play, GVG offers classic and turbo blackjack from £1, plus free demos.
The Studio 21 Clubs and Hearts live tables have £5-£5,000 main-bet limits, pay 3:2 for blackjack and have the dealer stand on soft 17.
My digital pick is European Blackjack Turbo: £1 a hand, 3:2 for blackjack and up to three hands at once. I'd try the demo before putting money on the table. There's a useful banking difference too: debit-card withdrawals have no minimum, while PayPal has a £20 minimum. Betfred or Genting would be my alternatives for a £1 live table.
#5 Prime - Digital blackjack and a separate live lobby
Prime has separate sections for digital blackjack and live dealer tables. First Person Blackjack is in the table-games section; Blackjack Classic 66 and Speed Blackjack E are in the live lobby. Evolution, Playtech and Pragmatic Play are among the live providers.
First Person uses a computer to deal the cards. If you fancy a human dealer and a bit of table chat, head for the live section.
Prime's general welcome bonus has slots-only wagering.
First Person Blackjack is where I'd begin. You can start the next deal when you're ready and use up to five hand positions. Prime suits someone who likes that animated table and wants a separate live lobby within reach. Casushi would be my alternative for European, single-deck and other classic digital variations.
#6 Casushi - Classic digital blackjack choices
Next in line is another original blackjack casino site with a cute and colourful design. It doesn't mess about when it comes to online blackjack either.
You'll find all-time favourites like Classic Blackjack, European Blackjack, Sweet 16 Blackjack, 3D Blackjack and Vegas Single Deck Blackjack. There is a separate live-blackjack section if you want a dealer on screen.
What really stands out at Casushi UK is their responsible gambling tools. You'll find everything from deposit limits to time-out requests. If you're anything like me and want to set boundaries before things get out of hand, you'll approve of it.
The welcome spins are for slots.
I'd start with European Blackjack, then try Multi-Hand Classic BJ if I wanted several hands on the go. Casushi's useful little detail is its £10 withdrawal minimum, with smaller balances available through support. If Evolution's First Person game is the one you have in mind, I'd choose Prime instead.

#7 Pub Casino - A familiar casino feel
An online casino that looks and feels like blackjack? PUB Casino got you covered with a classy gentlemen's club style. You definitely won't be faffing about trying to spot your favourite blackjack casino game.
The live lobby includes Blackjack B and Blackjack Ruby. For digital play, you've got Blackjack Neo, Blackjack Sweet 16 and Blackjack Suited Single Hand.
In a few words, PUB is worth a look if you're after that real-deal casino buzz.
Pub Blackjack by Stakelogic is the first room I'd open. There are also One Blackjack and Pragmatic Play's Azure tables to compare with it. Pub suits someone who likes its club-style setting and branded table. I'd put All British beside it if branded blackjack is the attraction; the two share the same operator and withdrawal process.
#8 Fun Casino - Classic games and a tidy layout
Fun Casino has plenty of classic blackjack games and live dealer options, while finding the right game is a doddle thanks to its tidy site layout.
I like Fun's beach theme. It's easy on the eyes, and the layout makes the games easy to find.
You can play classics like European Blackjack or try something different, like Atlantic City Blackjack, 3D Blackjack, Sweet 16 or Blackjack Neo. In the live section, you'll find Easy Blackjack and Infinite Bet Stacker Blackjack.
For digital play I'd begin with European Blackjack; for a live dealer, Blackjack Classic 2 by Stakelogic. Fun is a comfortable choice if you like a manageable lobby with familiar games. I'd compare Casushi for its digital variations, or All British if you want branded live rooms to browse.
#9 Yeti - Classic and speed blackjack in one place
Looking for a spot to play blackjack? Yeti Casino has a good mix of digital games and live tables.
For live dealer blackjack, try Classic Speed Blackjack 4 or One Blackjack. The digital selection includes Blackjack Neo, 3D Blackjack and Atlantic City Blackjack.
I'd search for One Blackjack in the main live lobby, or open Classic Speed Blackjack 4 when I fancied a quicker game. Yeti gives you both conventional and speed tables to browse. Prime is worth comparing for its mix of digital and live blackjack; Betfred makes the £1 choice easier to spot.
Compare Blackjack Table Limits
Here are the named games I'd compare at Betfred, PlayOJO and Genting. The similar names at Betfred are worth a second look: its £1 virtual game and live Blackjack 1 have different starting stakes.
| Game / casino | Main bet | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Betfred £1 Blackjack / Betfred | £1-£50 | Virtual studio presentation with a computer dealing. Optional 21+3 and Perfect Pair side bets. |
| All Bets Blackjack Live / Betfred | From £1 | Human dealer and unlimited places. Six optional side bets alongside the main game. |
| Blackjack 1 / Betfred | £5-£2,000 | A separate live-dealer table. This is not Betfred's £1 virtual game. |
| European Blackjack Turbo / PlayOJO | From £1 per hand | Digital GVG blackjack; 3:2 payout; up to three hands. You choose when to start the next round. |
| Studio 21 Clubs / Hearts / PlayOJO | £5-£5,000 | Live tables with seven seats; 3:2 blackjack; dealer stands on soft 17. |
| All Bets Blackjack Live / Genting | From £1 | Unlimited players with individual decisions; 3:2 blackjack; eight decks; double on any initial two cards; one split, with no double after split. |
What I Check Before Choosing a Table
I look for 3:2 blackjack: a winning £10 natural pays £15 profit, compared with £12 at 6:5. Between otherwise similar tables, I'd also choose a dealer who stands on soft 17 (S17) and allows double after split. Then I check the minimum stake and the cost of any compulsory extras. A £1 starting bet is useful only if the table suits how you want to play. The game rules are in the information panel; our blackjack rules guide explains the differences in full.
Which Would I Choose?
If you've narrowed it down to two sites, these are the differences I'd use to make the decision.
Betfred or PlayOJO for £1 blackjack?
Betfred gets my vote for £1 live blackjack. All Bets has a human dealer and unlimited places at that starting stake. PlayOJO's European Blackjack Turbo starts at £1, pays 3:2 and has a demo, so I'd compare it with Betfred's virtual game for digital play. PlayOJO's Studio 21 live tables start at £5. For small withdrawals, PlayOJO's no-minimum debit-card route is another reason to consider it.
Genting or All British for live tables?
I'd choose Genting for a £1 All Bets table, and All British for its branded rooms. Genting also brings together Evolution's Blackjack B, Studio21 Clubs and Pragmatic Play's Blackjack 14. All British has its own Stakelogic tables alongside choices such as One Blackjack and Blackjack Party. Neither site's slots welcome bonus would decide this one for me; the live game I wanted would.
Prime or Casushi for digital blackjack?
Prime is my pick for First Person Blackjack; Casushi for classic digital variations. Casushi's European, Sweet 16 and Vegas Single Deck games give you several starting points. It also has a clear £10 withdrawal minimum and a support route for smaller balances. Prime keeps First Person in its table-games section and its live dealers in a separate lobby. I'd choose by the game, then compare the payment method below.
Depositing and Cashing Out
A £1 table is a good start, but I also want to know how much I have to deposit and whether I can withdraw a small balance afterwards. Compare the method you actually use. An e-wallet estimate tells you very little about a debit-card withdrawal.
| Casino / method | Deposit and cashout details | Timing and charges |
|---|---|---|
| PlayOJO / debit card or Instant Bank Payment | £10 minimum deposit; no minimum withdrawal. | No casino deposit or withdrawal fee. PlayOJO says most Visa withdrawals are processed in minutes. |
| PlayOJO / PayPal | £10 minimum deposit; £20 minimum withdrawal. Make a PayPal deposit before withdrawing to PayPal. | Processing normally takes a few hours, then the wallet is credited almost instantly. No casino fee. |
| Betfred / debit card, Apple Pay or Instant Banking | Card withdrawals normally return to the card used to deposit. The cashier displays the limits for your method. | Usual processing: Visa/Mastercard within four hours; Apple Pay/Instant Banking within six hours. BACS takes around three working days. No withdrawal fee. |
| Casushi / debit card, Trustly, Apple Pay or Google Pay | £10 minimum deposit and withdrawal. Ask support to withdraw a balance below £10; money returns to the funding method. | Receipt within five working days under the account terms. No casino deposit fee. |
| All British, Pub, Fun and Yeti | Withdraw to the method used to deposit. Support can arrange a withdrawal below the cashier minimum. | Aim to process within 24 hours, followed by the payment provider's transfer time. Standard withdrawals have no casino fee; a 5% charge applies with no account activity. |
| Prime and Genting / cards or online wallets | £10 minimum deposit. Withdrawal limits appear in the cashier; support can arrange smaller cashouts. | Aim to process within a few hours. Cards and online wallets have no casino withdrawal fee. |
Say you've got £12 left at PlayOJO. You can withdraw it by debit card or Instant Bank Payment, but it's below PayPal's £20 minimum. At Casushi, All British, Pub, Fun and Yeti, ask support for a balance below the normal withdrawal minimum; you don't need to keep playing to reach it. For L&L Europe, Prime and Genting, the processing target covers casino approval; the payment provider's transfer time comes afterwards.
Live or Digital: Which Blackjack Site Suits You?
The game you enjoy is a better starting point than a long casino lobby. These are the options I'd open first.
| What you want | Where I'd start | Why it suits |
|---|---|---|
| £1 digital blackjack | European Blackjack Turbo at PlayOJO; Betfred £1 Blackjack | A clear £1 starting stake. PlayOJO also gives you a demo to try. |
| An animated table | First Person Blackjack at Prime | Start the next deal yourself, with up to five hand positions. |
| A conventional live seat | Studio 21 Clubs or Hearts at PlayOJO; All British Blackjack 1 | A dealer on screen and a seated table. Studio 21 starts at £5. |
| Live play without a seat queue | All Bets Blackjack Live at Betfred or Genting | Both start at £1 and admit unlimited players. |
| A faster live game | Classic Speed Blackjack 4 at Yeti; Speed Blackjack E at Prime | A brisker game once you're comfortable with live decisions. |
| Digital variations | European Blackjack, Vegas Single Deck or Multi-Hand Classic BJ at Casushi | Several classic digital choices within one blackjack category. |
Finding Blackjack on Your Phone
I want the blackjack games within easy reach. At PlayOJO, the heart on a game tile adds it to your favourites, which is handy once you've found your regular table. You can use the mobile website or choose its app. Casushi groups the digital games under Table Games > Blackjack and keeps live blackjack separate.
Betfred's game tiles have an Info option for the overview; the in-game menu's Help section has the detailed rules. All British's provider filter is useful if you know which studio you want. The lobby screenshots in the reviews above show the selections at Betfred, All British and Casushi.
Before depositing, I'd try a demo on the phone I plan to use. Check that you can read the stake and payout and reach Hit, Stand, Double and Split comfortably. For live blackjack, the betting timer and dealer video need room too. A game that's awkward to operate is an easy one to cross off the list.
What’s Up for Grabs? Blackjack Bonuses That Actually Apply
Blackjack and bonuses don't always mix, mates.
Blackjack games often count a little or don't count at all towards bonus wagering requirements. Since blackjack can have a low house edge, compared with many slots, casinos don't go as crazy throwing in bonuses to use in blackjack.
Tip: Check which blackjack games qualify, how much they contribute to wagering, the expiry date, maximum stake and withdrawal conditions.
| Casino | Blackjack relevance | What to choose |
|---|---|---|
| Betfred | £5 live-casino Golden Chips welcome offer. | Opt in, make an eligible debit-card deposit and stake £10 on live casino within seven days. Full details below. |
| PlayOJO | Welcome spins are for slots. OJOplus earns cash on casino games, including blackjack. | Choose the game and payment method first. OJOplus cash can be collected into the real-money balance. |
| Prime | Ten 25p Golden Chips for eligible Playtech live tables, separate from the slots welcome bonus. | £10 deposit; code GC25; once per player. The chips total £2.50 and expire after 24 hours. |
| Genting | Five 50p live-table chips, totalling £2.50. | New depositors use GoldBets with at least £10. The separate matched bonus of up to £25 has 10x slots-only wagering. |
| Casushi | Welcome spins need slots play; blackjack and live casino are excluded. | Choose it for the digital blackjack selection and account terms. |
| All British, Pub, Fun and Yeti | Welcome spins are for slots. | Compare the branded tables, game selection and payment options when choosing a blackjack site. |
Betfred Live Casino: £5 in Golden Chips
Betfred's live-casino offer gives eligible new live-casino customers £5 in Golden Chips after opting in and staking £10 on live casino within seven days. An eligible debit-card deposit is required. Several banks and methods are excluded, including Monzo, Revolut, Starling and PayPal; check the full list before depositing. 18+, eligibility and game restrictions apply.
The chips can be used on qualifying live blackjack, subject to table minimums. Accept them within three days, then use them within seven days. The promotional chip stake is not returned. Only winnings are credited, with no further wagering, and they become withdrawable/playable after all Golden Chips are used.
Prime and Genting's Small Live-Table Extras
At Prime, code GC25 gives eligible players ten 25p Golden Chips after a £10 deposit, once per player. At Genting, GoldBets gives first-time depositors five 50p chips with a minimum £10 deposit. Its accompanying match of up to £25 is for slots, with 10x bonus wagering.
Both offers give you 24 hours to use the chips and require you to play with your deposited money before withdrawing reward winnings. Choose an eligible Playtech blackjack table that accepts the chip denomination. These are £2.50 extras, so I'd settle the game, stake and withdrawal method first, then open the promotion terms before depositing.
How Blackjack Counts Towards Bonus Wagering
For Great Britain, bonus wagering requirements have been capped at 10 times since 19 January 2026. That still does not mean every blackjack stake counts in full.
Here's a hypothetical example: £20 of bonus funds with 10x wagering creates £200 of credited wagering. If an eligible blackjack game contributes only 10%, you would need £2,000 of actual qualifying stakes to supply that £200. That £2,000 is the total amount wagered, rather than an amount you deposit or lose. At 0% contribution, blackjack does not clear the requirement at all.

For cashback, look at which blackjack games count, how losses are calculated, the cap and whether you receive cash or bonus credit.
How I Pick My Blackjack Sites
I look for classic blackjack, a decent choice of live tables and a few interesting variants. For this shortlist, I compared the games, stakes and published rules. I've included bonuses where blackjack qualifies.
For players in Great Britain, the casino needs a UK Gambling Commission licence. I match the domain and operator to the register.
I compare withdrawal minimums, fees and payment methods alongside the games. The banking comparison above gives you the details to check before signing up.
I also look at recent player complaints and how the operator dealt with them, along with customer support, deposit limits and time-outs. Our individual casino reviews cover those account details. Casino and promotion eligibility can differ for Northern Ireland, so check the local terms.

Blackjack Questions, Straight Answers
Still got a question? Here are the bits that tend to trip people up.
What is the best online blackjack casino?
Betfred is my pick for £1 blackjack. All British has plenty of branded tables and variants, while Genting offers a good choice of live providers. For digital games at your own pace, I'd also look at Casushi and Prime.
Which blackjack sites have £1 games?
Betfred's virtual £1 Blackjack game and All Bets Blackjack Live both start at £1. Genting also has All Bets from £1, while PlayOJO's European Blackjack Turbo starts at £1 per hand.
How do I check a blackjack site's UK licence?
Use the Gambling Commission's public register and match the casino's exact website address to its licensed operator. A familiar logo in the footer isn't enough on its own.
Should I choose live or digital blackjack?
Live blackjack gives you a human dealer, table chat and timed rounds. With a digital game such as First Person, you choose when to start the next round. Compare the actual tables too: the blackjack payout, soft-17 rule, doubling and splitting affect the game you get.
Where can I find blackjack that pays 3:2?
PlayOJO's European Blackjack Turbo and its Studio21 Clubs and Hearts live tables pay 3:2, as does All Bets Blackjack Live at Genting. A winning £10 natural pays £15 profit at 3:2, compared with £12 at 6:5.
Can I use a casino welcome bonus on blackjack?
Some offers include blackjack; others are slots-only. Check which games qualify and how much they contribute to wagering. With promotional chips, you may receive only the winnings, with the chip stake removed after the hand.
What should I look for in a mobile blackjack site?
You need clear cards, easy-to-reach decision buttons and a visible total stake. Try the layout before committing to a game. Live video needs a steady connection, and the table's rules explain what happens if you disconnect or miss a decision timer.
Can I try blackjack before choosing a casino?
Yes. Our free blackjack page has demos to try. For help with your decisions, use the strategy chart and hand checker; the practice exercise needs no casino account or deposit.
