A good casino tournament gives you a reason to watch more than the reels. Land a decent win and you might climb the leaderboard as well, with a separate prize waiting if you finish high enough.
Betfred is my first stop for bigger cash pools. PlayOJO is worth a look for its Reel Spinoffs, while All British and Fun have monthly competitions built around a particular collection of slots. Here are the six I'd shortlist, with the entry costs, scoring rules and prize conditions that matter.

All six feature on our UK casino shortlist. The dated competitions below have fixed closing dates; the daily tournament lobbies show the next available events and their individual terms.
1. Betfred: Lucky Rush and Daily Drops & Wins
Betfred has two very different slot competitions worth a look. Lucky Rush is a Playtech network promotion running until 17 January 2027. Standard rounds have a £100,000 cash pool, with £10,000 for first place and 5,000 paid places. Selected rounds double the pool to £200,000, including 29 October-5 November.
Join through the tournament widget inside a qualifying slot. Your best 25 scores from your first 10,000 spins count, with each score calculated as win divided by stake, multiplied by 100. That 10,000 is a cap, not an entry requirement. You need at least 100 points and a paying position to collect; bonus funds and free spins don't qualify.
The pool is shared across participating casinos. Prizes normally arrive within 48 hours of the round ending. See the Lucky Rush rules and round dates.
For a daily contest, Drops & Wins runs from 14 October to 18 November 2026. Opt in and stake at least 15p on eligible slots, including Big Bass Bonanza, Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza. The tournament adds up win multipliers from your first 5,000 spins each day. There are 500 cash prizes, from £5 to £3,000.
Each daily round runs from 18:01 to 17:59 the following day, UK time. Free spins don't count, and prizes are credited within three days. This is a shared Pragmatic Play network pool. Its separate Wheel Drops award random prizes; those aren't leaderboard wins. Full Drops & Wins terms.

2. Genting: daily and weekly slot tournaments
Genting suits anyone who'd rather pick a short tournament from a lobby than follow a month-long competition. It runs freerolls, paid events and seasonal specials, with buy-ins advertised from £1.
Log in, open Daily Picks and choose the Tournaments tab. Each event shows its entry price and countdown. Join the one you want, play the tournament spins and use My Rank to see where you've landed.
The useful bit is having the cost and time remaining in the same place. Check the event card for its spin allowance, scoring and prize terms before paying: a £1 buy-in isn't a promise that every competition has the same rules. Genting's tournament guide.

3. All British: October TV Tournament
Deal or No Deal, Rick and Morty, The Goonies and Squid Game are among the series in All British's TV Tournament, running 1-31 October 2026. It's a best-multiplier contest: the size of your strongest win relative to your stake decides your score.
The £2,500 pool pays £1,000, £600 and £300 to the top three, then £100 each to fourth through ninth. You need at least 100 qualifying rounds at 40p or more, a verified account, a completed deposit and the required bonus and marketing opt-ins.
Prizes arrive as bonus funds in the first week of November, with the standard 10x bonus wagering unless otherwise specified. A £1,000 prize therefore means £10,000 in qualifying wagers before withdrawal, and the bonus rules cap bets at £2 while wagering it. That's worth knowing before comparing it with a £1,000 cash prize.

4. PlayOJO: Reel Spinoffs
Reel Spinoffs give you a batch of tournament spins on a selected slot. Your results become leaderboard points, and the highest finishers collect the prizes shown for that event. The balance you see during those tournament spins isn't cash you can withdraw.
There are freerolls and buy-in events throughout the day. Freerolls have no entry fee, but PlayOJO's UK help specifies a deposit within the previous three days. For a paid event, you can use your account balance or make a deposit; the joining screen confirms your spin package and game.
Open Reel Spinoffs or Kickers after logging in. Prizes appear in Rewards when the event finishes. Free-spin prize winnings have no wagering requirement, which is the main attraction here. Check the individual leaderboard for its paid places rather than assuming every event only rewards the top three. PlayOJO's UK tournament help.

5. Fun Casino: October Gold Tournament
Fun's Gold Tournament runs 1-31 October 2026, with a £1,750 prize pool. First gets £1,000, second £500 and third £250. Qualifying slots include Fishin Pots of Gold, Gonzo's Gold, Bounty Gold and Golden Ticket 2.
Your best win multiplier sets your position, after at least 100 qualifying rounds with a minimum 40p cash stake. You need a verified account, a completed deposit and the required bonus and marketing opt-ins.
Prizes are credited in the first week of November as bonus funds. The standard UK requirement is 10x wagering, with a £2 maximum bet while using the bonus. I like the selection of gold-themed games, but only three places pay, so the prize structure is much narrower than All British's.
Both casinos' tournament rules also include a prize-forfeiture clause for account breaks, self-exclusion or limits that prevent further participation. Read that clause before entering. Gold Tournament rules | Fun's bonus conditions.

6. Mega Casino: daily freerolls and weekend buy-ins
Mega's published line-up includes £2,000 Wonders of Weekend, running Friday to Sunday with a £2 buy-in, plus the £1-entry £100 When Falling event and £500 A Day. Open Tournaments in the sidebar for the events available to your account.
Freerolls cost nothing to enter but are for recent depositors, and the spins generate ranking points rather than withdrawable winnings. Paid tournaments use your balance or a fresh deposit and may allow additional spin purchases. Factor those into the cost when comparing events.
Tournament spins expire within 24 hours. Ties go to the player who reached the score first. Cash and free-spin prizes vary by event, so use the lobby's prize breakdown and terms rather than assuming every reward is wager-free. Mega's tournament rules.

How casino tournament scoring works
The scoring system makes a bigger difference than the headline prize. These are the main formats you'll come across:
- Best multiplier: your strongest win relative to your stake counts. A £20 win from a 40p spin is 50x, just like a £100 win from a £2 spin. Spending more on that spin doesn't improve the multiplier.
- Total multipliers: qualifying wins add together across the event. Betfred's Daily Drops & Wins uses this format, within its daily spin cap.
- Best set of scores: Lucky Rush counts your top 25 results. Smaller wins outside that group don't improve your final total.
- Tournament spins: a separate allocation of spins produces leaderboard points. Check whether extra packages are available, because the starting allocation may not be the most a player can use.
You're competing against other players for the tournament prizes, but ordinary cash spins still play against the slot's paytable. The leaderboard doesn't change the game's underlying odds.
What does it actually cost to enter?
There are three different costs hiding under the word 'entry': a fixed buy-in, paid spins that qualify you for a leaderboard, and a freeroll with no entry fee but an account or deposit condition.
For example, 100 rounds at 40p means £40 in total stakes. That's turnover, not a £40 entry fee or a guaranteed £40 loss: wins from earlier spins can fund later ones. Equally, a small fixed buy-in can become more expensive if you buy extra spin packages.
I'd compare the number of paid places and the lowest prize as well as first place. Then look at what you receive. Cash, bonus credit and a bundle of 10p free spins are three quite different rewards. Our wagering requirements guide explains the bonus calculations.
Casino tournament questions
Can I enter without making a deposit?
Not automatically. A freeroll means no tournament entry fee; it can still require a previous deposit. PlayOJO currently specifies the previous three days, while Mega requires recent deposit activity. Check eligibility before funding an account just for a tournament.
Why has my score not appeared?
Check that you've joined the event, opened a qualifying game and met its minimum stake. Some competitions also require a minimum number of rounds. Bonus-funded play or free spins may be excluded, and there can be a delay before the leaderboard refreshes.
Are prize drops the same as tournaments?
No. A tournament ranks players by a stated scoring rule and pays finishing positions. A prize drop awards a random extra prize on qualifying play. Drops & Wins includes both, with separate rules and prize pools.
Can I practise before entering?
You can use our free slot demos to get familiar with a game. Demo spins don't count towards these casino leaderboards, though, and a good demo run doesn't predict your tournament result.
