Let’s face it: pandas are bundles of cuteness. They spend most of the day eating bamboo and looking as though getting up would be far too much trouble.
Put one in a slot game, however, and everything changes. Suddenly they’re doing kung fu, guarding piles of gold, running restaurants and rolling across the reels in search of jackpots. Slot developers have quite an imagination when it comes to pandas!
There are plenty of panda slots around, but they aren’t all worth playing. Some are basically an old slot with a panda stuck on the front. Others are genuinely good games that happen to feature our favourite black-and-white bear.
We’ve picked seven of the best, checked the important game details and included a free demo for every title. There are a few old favourites from the original version of this page, along with newer games that offer cascades, ways to win, collection features and progressive jackpots.
So, let’s meet the pandas. Two quick things first.
On RTP: casinos can run different versions of the same slot. The highest published RTP is useful when comparing games, but your casino may be using a lower one. Open the game’s information panel and check. It takes a few seconds and, as you’ll see with Eye of the Panda, the difference can be surprisingly large.
On stakes: online slots in Great Britain are capped at £5 per game cycle for players aged 25 and over, and £2 for players aged 18 to 24. The £5 cap began on 9 April 2025, followed by the £2 cap for 18-24s on 21 May 2025. You may see much higher limits on supplier or overseas pages. They don’t apply when you’re playing through a GB-licensed casino.
7 Best Panda Slots to Play in 2026
#7. Panda Pow
First up is one of the survivors from our old list. Panda Pow was released by Lightning Box in 2017 and hasn’t changed much since. You get five reels, 25 paylines, traditional music and a black-belt panda who has considerably more energy than the average real panda.
The RTP is 95.51%, which is lower than we would like. What keeps it on the list is how easy it is to play. The red panda acts as both a wild and a bonus symbol. Land five or more and you enter the Free Games, where golden panda wilds and extra stacked symbols are added to the reels.
We did run into one annoying problem while checking it. Published maximum-win figures are all over the place. Some pages quote the 500x award for the top five-symbol line, while others give much larger totals for the complete bonus round. Rather than invent a definite number, we’ve marked it as version-dependent. Check the paytable in the game you actually load.
- Game Format: 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 fixed paylines
- RTP: 95.51%
- Volatility: Low-medium to medium, depending on the listed build
- Maximum Win: Version-dependent, so check the in-game paytable
- Best Features: Red Panda bonus wilds, Golden Panda wilds, stacked symbols and Free Games
Panda Pow is showing its age, but that’s not always a bad thing. You can load it, choose a stake and understand what’s happening straight away. No tutorial required.
Play Panda Pow for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit LuckyMe Slots to play for real.

#6. Panda Blitz
This one is wonderfully silly. Panda Blitz is built around a panda who rolls across the reels collecting bamboo, then gets physically bigger as you feed him. We can’t argue with that.
Rarestone Gaming, working under Playtech, uses a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win. Three or more scatters award six Free Games and place the Rolling Panda on reel three. Any bamboo landing after a spin sends him rolling off to collect it.
Fill the meter once and the panda expands to 2×2. Do it again and he grows to 3×3, then finally 4×4. You also receive one extra spin with each upgrade. Six starting spins doesn’t sound generous, and it isn’t, so collecting that bamboo quickly makes a big difference.
The RTP is around 95.9%, volatility is high and the ordinary paytable tops out at roughly 2,430x stake. There are also four progressive Jackpot Blitz prizes: Mini, Minor, Major and Blitz. Their values change as people play, and they sit separately from the game’s fixed maximum.
- Game Format: 6 reels, 4 rows and 4,096 ways to win
- RTP: Approximately 95.9%
- Volatility: High
- Maximum Win: About 2,430x stake on the regular paytable, plus progressive jackpots
- Best Features: Rolling Panda Free Games, expanding 4×4 wild and four Jackpot Blitz tiers
The bonus is much more fun to watch than it is to explain. Once a 4×4 panda starts lumbering around the grid, you’ll see why we kept it.
Play Panda Blitz for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit Betfred Casino to play for real.

#5. Panda’s Fortune 2
The original Panda’s Fortune was number one on this page for years. We haven’t forgotten it, but the sequel is the better game now.
Pragmatic Play kept the familiar 5×3 layout and 25 paylines, then did more with the golden symbols. Every ordinary symbol has a gold version. If one forms part of a win, you receive an extra prize on top, and a five-symbol golden win can reveal anything up to 4,998x stake.
Land three or more yin-yang scatters and you get 12 Free Spins. Whenever a golden symbol helps to make a win, its position is marked. Only golden symbols can land in that spot for the rest of the bonus. Get a few marked positions working together and the plain little grid suddenly becomes much more interesting. Minor, Major and Grand fixed prizes are in there as well.
The best version has a 96.51% RTP, high volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x stake. That’s a good RTP for this sort of game. Unfortunately, 95.13% and 94.5% versions also exist, so don’t assume you’re getting the top one.
- Game Format: 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 fixed paylines
- RTP: Up to 96.51%, with lower variants available
- Volatility: High
- Maximum Win: 5,000x stake
- Best Features: Golden Symbol prizes, 12 Free Spins, marked golden positions and fixed jackpot prizes
If you enjoyed the original Panda’s Fortune, this feels familiar without being pointless. The golden positions give the Free Spins a proper sense of progress.

#4. Panda Kingdom
Panda Kingdom only arrived in August 2026. We haven’t pushed it into the top four simply because it’s new, though. Plenty of new slots are forgotten a fortnight after release.
This is another Pragmatic Play game, but it plays nothing like Panda’s Fortune 2. It has a 5×3 grid, 243 ways to win and a Money and Collect feature. Cash values appear on the first four reels and a Collect symbol on reel five scoops them up. Naturally, you’ll spend a fair amount of time watching that collect symbol miss when the rest of the screen looks perfect.
Bat, Bear and Tiger scatters control the Free Spins. Each animal activates a different set of reel multipliers, and collecting a missing animal during the feature adds its multipliers and a few more spins. Starting with all three is the dream, as the middle reels then carry the best values.
The top RTP is 96.02%, volatility is high and the maximum win is 5,000x stake. Money and Collect has been used in a lot of slots, so we won’t pretend the idea is new. Panda Kingdom makes good use of it, especially once the animal modifiers begin stacking up.
- Game Format: 5 reels, 3 rows and 243 ways to win
- RTP: Up to 96.02%
- Volatility: High
- Maximum Win: 5,000x stake
- Best Features: Money and Collect symbols, three animal modifiers, extra spins and reel multipliers
Some players will find it a bit familiar. Fair enough. We liked the way the bonus improves as more animals join in, and the game never becomes a muddle.
Play Panda Kingdom for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit PlayOJO Casino to look for the real-money game.

#3. Panda Money
Right, now things get busy. Panda Money comes from Big Time Gaming and uses six reels with up to 15,625 ways to win. If Panda Pow is the one you can understand at a glance, this is the one you’ll want to try in demo mode first.
Every win starts the Prize Builder. Winning symbols drop to the bottom, the others are cleared away and replacements arrive around them. There’s also an extra reel above the main game. Matching symbols can fall from it and make the stacks below taller, improving the win before it is paid.
Three scatters give you eight Free Spins, with two more for every extra scatter. The Prize Builder stays active and bamboo symbols are added. Collect five pieces of bamboo and the win multiplier goes up by one. Keep feeding the panda and it keeps climbing.
The headline RTP is 96.10%, but there is also a 94.08% build. Volatility is high and the advertised maximum is a massive 67,330x stake. That number is the game’s absolute limit, not a realistic target for an ordinary session. We always get nervous when reviews print a huge maximum as though it’s something players should expect to see.
- Game Format: 6 reels and up to 15,625 ways to win
- RTP: Up to 96.10%, with a lower 94.08% version available
- Volatility: High
- Maximum Win: 67,330x stake
- Best Features: Prize Builder, extra reel, Free Spins, bamboo collection and a growing win multiplier
There’s a lot happening, but it all revolves around building the same win and feeding the same multiplier. That stops Panda Money becoming another feature-packed mess.
Play Panda Money for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit Betfred Casino to play for real.

#2. Eye of the Panda
Forget the peaceful bamboo grove. Hacksaw Gaming’s panda is a grumpy, burger-eating bouncer outside a neon restaurant, and he looks as though he’s already heard your excuse.
The game uses a 5×5 grid with 27 paylines and Super Cascades. After a win, every instance of each winning symbol is removed, not just the symbols sitting on the payline, then new ones drop into the gaps. Multiplier wilds carry values from 2x to 10x and multiply together when more than one helps the same line.
There are two Free Spins modes. Never Say No to Panda stores up to five unused multiplier wilds, then throws them back onto winning lines. Jumping Pandas keeps the first five wilds in play and moves them to new positions between spins and cascades. It’s chaotic, while the panda himself remains magnificently unimpressed.
The best RTP is 96.26%, volatility is rated 3 out of 5 and the maximum win is 10,000x stake. Now for the bad news. Hacksaw also supplies versions at 94.21%, 92.25% and 88.31%. Yes, 88.31%. That is an enormous drop, so this is one game where you really must check the help screen before playing for money.
- Game Format: 5 reels, 5 rows and 27 fixed paylines
- RTP: 96.26%, 94.21%, 92.25% or 88.31%, depending on the build
- Volatility: Medium, rated 3 out of 5
- Maximum Win: 10,000x stake
- Best Features: Super Cascades, multiplier wilds, stored pandas and jumping wilds
We nearly put Eye of the Panda first. The lower RTP versions stopped us. Find the 96.26% build and it is one of the most entertaining games here.

#1. Big Bamboo
Yes, Big Bamboo was also in our animal slots article. No, we aren’t apologising for picking it again. It is a panda slot, and it happens to be our favourite one.
Push Gaming uses a tall 5×6 grid with 50 paylines. The important symbols look like stacks of bamboo. These can open to reveal matching animals, wilds or Golden Bamboo symbols. Find the gold and you get a respin with instant prizes up to 5,000x, multipliers up to 10x, collectors and scatters in the mix.
It sounds complicated written down. In the game it makes sense after a few spins, which is why we’ve linked the demo below.
The Free Spins are the best part. You can accept the offer you’re given or gamble it on a wheel for more spins and extra symbols converted into Mystery Bamboo. Win the gamble and your bonus starts in much better shape. Lose and the whole feature is gone. We can’t tell you which button to press there; it comes down to how annoyed you’ll be if the wheel takes your spins away.
The highest published RTP is 96.13%, with a 94.13% version also available. Volatility is high and the maximum win is 50,000x stake. Don’t be fooled by the sleepy music and cute animals. Big Bamboo can go quiet for long stretches, so keep the stake sensible.
- Game Format: 5 reels, 6 rows and 50 fixed paylines
- RTP: 96.13% or 94.13%, depending on the casino build
- Volatility: High
- Maximum Win: 50,000x stake
- Best Features: Mystery Bamboo stacks, Golden Bamboo respins, instant prizes, collectors and Free Spins upgrades
Big Bamboo has been around since 2022 and newer panda slots arrive all the time. We still haven’t found one we enjoy more.
Play Big Bamboo for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit Betfred Casino to play for real.

How We Picked These Panda Slots
Sticking a panda on the loading screen wasn’t enough. The old version of this article included several games that were hard to find, and its final summary didn’t even match the seven games in the list. We went back through it properly this time.
- The important numbers: we checked the layout, RTP, volatility, maximum win and main features. If several RTP versions exist, we’ve told you.
- Actual differences: the seven games cover fixed paylines, 243 and 4,096 ways, cascades, a Megaways-style engine, collection features and progressive jackpots. They don’t all play the same.
- A working free demo: every ranked game has its own demo. You can see what it does before risking any money.
- Games you can still find: a few older picks were removed because they have almost vanished from UK casino lobbies. We kept Panda Pow because it remains available and still offers something different.
- The bad bits too: if an RTP is poor or a maximum-win figure can’t be pinned down, we say so. A cute panda doesn’t make the maths better.
Three More Panda Games Worth a Look
- Panda Fortune Rush – a February 2026 BGaming release using a large scatter-pays grid, random symbol multipliers up to 50x and retriggerable Free Spins. Its 96.03% RTP and medium volatility are appealing, although the 1,750x ceiling is modest beside the top three.
- Panda’s Fortune – the Pragmatic Play original and the former winner of this page. It is still a charming 25-payline classic, but Panda’s Fortune 2 has the stronger RTP and a better-developed golden-symbol feature.
- Full Moon White Panda – a Playtech oldie with 25 paylines, Free Games and four fixed Full Moon prizes. It remains available at some casinos, but the 95.90% RTP and older design leave it just outside the new top seven.
How to Choose the Right Panda Slot
Don’t choose purely by the artwork. Decide what sort of game you actually fancy first:
- For calmer play: start with Panda Pow or Eye of the Panda. Eye is officially medium volatility, although its features can still produce lively bursts.
- For bigger swings: Big Bamboo, Panda Money and Panda’s Fortune 2 are all high-volatility games. Expect stretches with little happening and keep stakes modest.
- For jackpots: Panda Blitz is the only ranked game connected to a live progressive network. Remember that a progressive jackpot is funded through wagers and remains extremely unlikely to land.
- For modern mechanics: choose Panda Money for dynamic ways and a growing multiplier, or Eye of the Panda for cascades and multiplying wilds.
- For simple paylines: Panda Pow and Panda’s Fortune 2 are easier to read than the large-grid games.
And yes, we’re mentioning the RTP again. Eye of the Panda alone can run anywhere from 96.26% down to 88.31%. That matters much more than whether the reels look pretty.
18+ only. Gambling should be entertainment, never a way to make money. Decide what you can comfortably spend before you start, keep the stake within that limit and never chase a loss. If gambling stops feeling fun or controlled, use the safer gambling tools at your casino and visit BeGambleAware.org for free support.
Panda Slot Machines FAQ
What is the best panda slot?
We would pick Big Bamboo. Its headline RTP is 96.13%, the maximum win is 50,000x and the Mystery and Golden Bamboo features give it more depth than most games in this theme. It is highly volatile, so try the demo first if you want to give it a spin.
Which panda slot has the highest RTP?
Panda’s Fortune 2 has the highest top setting in this list at 96.51%, followed by Eye of the Panda at 96.26%. Both games are supplied in lower-return versions, so double check the rate shown inside the game.
Which panda slot has the biggest maximum win?
Panda Money has the largest advertised fixed maximum at 67,330x stake. Big Bamboo takes second place with 50,000x.
Can I play panda slots for free?
Yes. Every ranked game above has a free demo on our site. The demo uses virtual credits, so there is no deposit and no real-money prize. It is useful for learning the features and deciding whether the pace suits you.
Are panda slot results random?
At a UK-licensed casino, online slots use tested random number generators. A previous win or loss does not change the result of the next spin. There is no timing trick, hot streak or bamboo-based strategy that can predict it.
Which panda slot has the best bonus round?
We would choose Big Bamboo. Its Free Spins can begin with low-paying symbols converted into Mystery Bamboo, which may reveal wilds, instant prizes, multipliers, collectors and more scatters. You can accept the Free Spins package you are awarded, or risk it on the gamble wheel for more spins and extra Mystery Bamboo symbols.
