IGT has been producing slot machines since 1975, and its catalogue now runs past 500 titles across land-based cabinets and online casinos. A handful of those games helped shape the whole industry: Cleopatra set the template for countless Egyptian slots that followed, while Da Vinci Diamonds introduced the cascading reel mechanic that much of the market now uses.
In this article we have picked out the 7 best IGT slots you can play at UK casinos right now, with the RTP, the key numbers and the standout feature for each.
One note before the list. IGT’s classic titles carry lower RTPs than many modern studios, with most of the portfolio sitting between 94% and 96% against an industry average of 96%. We normally treat 96% as our benchmark, so where a game falls short we say so in the entry. The classics remain on this list because their bonus rounds and track record earn the place, but it is worth knowing the trade you are making. As ever, RTP is a long-run theoretical average and some titles ship at more than one setting, so check the in-game info panel.
7 Best IGT Slots
#7. Siberian Storm
Play Siberian Storm at Prime Casino
The white tiger theme is striking, the hexagonal reel layout still looks unusual more than a decade on, and Siberian Storm remains one of the most generous free spin games IGT has produced.
The slot uses IGT’s MultiWay Xtra engine, which pays for matching symbols in any position on adjacent reels, both left to right and right to left, across 720 ways. These are usually called win both ways slots.
The green tiger eye initially triggers 8 free games but can award up to 96 spins, while the orange eye adds to the total, potentially reaching 240 free spins, the most of any game here.
A MegaJackpots version is also available with a progressive prize attached, if the standard game is not enough for you.
Play Siberian Storm for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit Prime Casino to play for real.

#6. Golden Goddess
Play Golden Goddess at PlayOJO Casino
Golden Goddess is one of the quieter successes in IGT’s catalogue. No licence, no gimmick, just a clean 5-reel, 40-payline game that also happens to be one of the few IGT classics to hit the 96.00% RTP mark.
The game is built around Super Stacks. Every reel carries a block of stacked positions that turn into the same symbol before each spin, so when the stacks line up across the board the screen fills with a single symbol and the payout follows.
Free spins are triggered by landing Rose symbols on reels two, three and four, awarding 7 free games. There are no retriggers, which is the main gap in the design, but the volatility is medium and the base game does more work than many IGT titles.
Play Golden Goddess for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit PlayOJO to play for real.

#5. Cleopatra Diamond Spins
Play Cleopatra Diamond Spins at Mega Casino
The newest game on this list. Cleopatra Diamond Spins launched in the first quarter of 2026 as the latest entry in IGT’s longest-running franchise, and it gives the series something it has not really had before: a serious ceiling.
The max win is 15,000x your stake, the highest of any Cleopatra title to date, built around a new diamond-collect mechanic layered over the familiar Egyptian setup. The RTP sits at 95.7%, just under our usual benchmark.
The free games retain the series’ defining trait of stacking retriggers, with up to 180 free games available in a single bonus.
Worth knowing: IGT’s 2026 output has focused heavily on extending its established franchises rather than launching new ones, and this is the strongest of those extensions so far.
Play Cleopatra Diamond Spins for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit Mega Casino to play for real.

#4. Da Vinci Diamonds
Play Da Vinci Diamonds at Genting Casino
Every cascading, tumbling or avalanching slot you have played owes something to this game. Da Vinci Diamonds was the first slot to use the tumble mechanic: winning symbols vanish, new ones drop into the gaps, and one spin can pay several times over. Gonzo’s Quest made the idea famous, but IGT got there first.
The game itself is a 5-reel, 3-row, 20-payline slot themed around Renaissance paintings and gemstones, with a top win of 5,000x. The free spins round is triggered by three bonus symbols and brings extra scatter-pay symbols into play, with retriggers available.
The downside is the RTP: 94.94%, which is below average and the lowest on this list. It still ranks fourth because of what it started and because, nearly twenty years on, players keep coming back to it. It is worth knowing the number before you play.

#3. Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 2
Play Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 2 at Play Zee
Lobstermania 2 pays back 96.52%, the highest RTP on this list. That is unusually high for IGT and better than plenty of modern releases.
Scattered Jackpot icons can appear over any symbol on each spin, and landing 3 or more on consecutive reels awards one of 3 fixed jackpots: Light Trap, Full Trap, or the top-tier Mother Load.
The Multiplier feature boosts a prize by x3 or x5 when a symbol containing the multiplier icon appears in a line win. Landing three Larry symbols launches the Bonus Picker, where you choose between the Buoy Bonus 2 and the Free Spins Bonus.
The Buoy Bonus pulls 2 to 4 lobsters for every buoy picked, each awarding an instant win. Catch a golden lobster and you trigger one of 3 pick-and-click rounds on top. Silly theme, serious maths.
Play Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 2 for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit Play Zee to play for real.

#2. Cleopatra
Play Cleopatra at Spinyoo Casino
The most influential slot IGT ever made, and arguably the most influential Egyptian slot from any studio. Cleopatra arrived on casino floors in 2005, moved online in 2012, and many of the scarabs, ankhs and Eyes of Horus seen on reels since owe something to it.
It runs on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 20 adjustable paylines and stakes from as little as 1p. Cleopatra herself acts as the wild, doubling any win she completes, and landing five Cleopatra symbols can pay 10,000x.
The bonus is a big reason it endures. Three or more Sphinx scatters award 15 free spins with all wins tripled, and the round retriggers up to a cap of 180 free spins. Two decades of players have chased that screen of Sphinxes and the game has never really needed a redesign.
The catch is the RTP: 95.02% online, a fair way below the modern average. If the number matters more to you than the pedigree, the newer Diamond Spins entry above trades a little history for better terms. A MegaJackpots Cleopatra with a progressive prize also exists.
Play Cleopatra for free here, no deposit or account needed, or visit Spinyoo Casino to play for real.

#1. Wheel of Fortune Megaways
Play Wheel of Fortune Megaways at Betfred Casino
Top of the list, and comfortably so. Wheel of Fortune Megaways is what happens when IGT licenses Big Time Gaming’s engine and pairs it with its most famous brand.
The numbers make the case. Up to 117,649 ways to win, an RTP of 96.46% that beats almost everything else in the IGT catalogue, high volatility, and a maximum win of more than 80,000x your bet.
The Ca$hLink feature collects cash values across the reels, while the Free Spins Bonus brings the famous wheel into play, with spins and multipliers decided in the familiar style of the TV show.
It is the one IGT slot that competes with the modern market on modern terms, which is why it takes first place.

History of IGT
IGT (International Game Technology) was created by William S. (“Si”) Redd. He first entered the gaming industry when he was 18 years old, acquiring a used pinball machine and persuading a hamburger stand manager to keep the game in their establishment for only 50 percent of the revenue.
After working with different manufacturers for some years, Redd finally established his own company in 1975, called A-1 Supply. Redd was big on research and development. That’s why his company was referred to as the pioneer in the gaming industry, more specifically in regards to video games and slot machines that he sold to various casinos across Nevada.
In 1979, Redd changed the name of the company to SIRCOMA (from “SI Redd COin MAchines”). However, in 1980 he changed the name again to IGT (International Game Technology) and in 1981 the company went public on NASDAQ.
The modern company began to take shape in 2015, when Italian lottery operator GTECH bought the original IGT in a deal worth around $6.4 billion and the combined business became a UK-headquartered PLC under the IGT name.
The biggest change came in 2025. On 1 July 2025, funds managed by Apollo Global Management completed a $6.3 billion acquisition of IGT’s Gaming and Digital business together with Everi Holdings, combining them into a privately held company headquartered in Las Vegas that continues to operate under the IGT name, organised into Gaming, Digital and FinTech units. The original PLC retained the lottery operations and was renamed Brightstar Lottery. Former Aristocrat Gaming boss Hector Fernandez was named to take over as IGT’s chief executive from the fourth quarter of 2025.
So the IGT making slots today is a different animal from the one that made Cleopatra in 2005, but the catalogue, the franchises and the game teams carried across. For players, the games are what matter, and those have not gone anywhere.
